This GSI Kettle is by far my favorite. That is why I decided to talk to you guys a little about it because it is a product that I enjoy very much. Where would we be without kettles?
Who does not like a hot drink after a long winter trek or just wanting to sit by a fire sipping on a coffee while relaxing your thoughts by letting the nature that surrounds you soak in as a well deserve refreshment? Don’t get poetic on me now…
Anyway, a kettle will help you accomplish that!! I apologize for showing my well used one but I did not have a shiny new one to show.
I have been using GSI kettles for years. I started with the anodized one which worked great and now have the stainless steel version. (Gift from my wife Josie… Love you Deary).
Things I love about this kettle is that its small, packs easily, boils water pretty fast (we are always in a rush for a coffee right?) and the handle will lock into the vertical position without a fight.
Now don’t get mad at me but I do use it to cook at times. What! Cooking food in a kettle? I sure do, now I am not going to overdo it by frying some bacon…but for warming/cooking up your food by using water…no problems. Also the craftsmanship of the spout is a no spiller… Ever!! I like that.
Here are a few details:
Dimension: 1 quart, Weight 9.3 oz
Other dimensions: 6.30 x 5.90 x 3.50 (that’s all in inches)
Material: Stainless steel
My overall reason for liking this kettle so much is that it can give me quick results with little effort.
Now because of my experience with this kettle and that I have never seen it disappoint me in any way I will have to give it a 10/10….That does not happen often.
Ok, enough words about this kettle…it does not need any more (well… maybe a few more). It’s cheap to buy which is something I like especially for a product that will perform and last.
The actual name of it is: The Glacier Stainless Tea Kettle 1 qt
Hope this helps you, if you are in search of a great kettle.
