Condor II Backpack by Maxpedition
Backpacks! Another subject I don’t really like to talk about. There are tons of them in the market.
Condor II by Maxpedition is one that I can personally talk about because it is a product that I really enjoy. This is not for everyone I know, but still I just got to share this awesome pack with you guys just for a little bit.
First off if you are a light backpacker this is not for you. Not that it’s heavy but for the ultra light backpacker’s standards it certainly is. Ok, so now that I got this off my chest, let’s continue!
The Condor II is a day pack/overnighter and you could probably, if you can squeeze it a bit spend another night. This pack is not a 3 day or more kind of a pack.
I usually am the type of guy who does not want to worry if the material on my pack will rip apart as I trek in the woods or worried to put it on the ground for whatever reasons I have.
This pack is very strongly made, from the material, buckles and zippers. So, I do not need to worry of risking in destroying it when branches poke it as I travel in the woods.
I have had this pack for over 3 years and trust me it’s a tough cookie. No matter the temperature or season.
It’s been through it all and I have to admit (for me anyway) the Condor II looks pretty cool if I do say so myself!
As I said before the buckles and zippers are super strong.
Because of the diverse molle attachments you can put on your favorite pouches, to be able to bring some of your extra important gear.
It is also a comfortable pack to carry. It is well padded and provides a secured chest and hip belt.
Oh! Did I tell you I love to make fires? Well I don’t always think of securing my pack away when I do because I need stuff from it. When the jumping coals (embers) fall on it, not a problem the pack fights back without damage. What a plus this is for me! Actually it’s a necessity that it toughens up to embers because a fire is always being made even when I don’t really need it, I just can’t help myself.
Let’s see some description of the Condor II by Maxpedition: This may be a little long but an important read for you if this is something that you are looking for. Don’t worry I will be back to say a few more words after this short announcement.

Told you it would be long! Well it’s not that bad! What a backpack this is though… I will give this one a 10/10! This is the second piece of gear I enjoy that has a perfect rating in my opinion. The first one was the GSI Kettle.
Before I go, my pack is in Khaki, but they offer other awesome colors. It can be a little pricey but ALL your money’s worth and will last you a lifetime.
Ok, time for me to stop! Have a great day and we appreciate you more than you think!
