Chicken Adobo

This is one of my favorite recipes originally from my country, the Philippines. The meal is simple yet delicious! Are you ready to give it a try? Here’s is what you’re going to need. 


drumsticks & chicken wings  (about 2 lbs)

or pork (whichever you prefer)

4 cloves garlic (crushed)

1 onion (chopped)

bay leaf (5 leaves or less)

¼ cup soya sauce

¼ cup vinegar

¼ cup water

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. sugar

black peppercorn (whole & crushed)

2 tbsp. oil

1 tbsp. butter (optional)


Heat the pan, pour the oil & add the butter. Brown the meat.

Add the rest of the ingredients. Cover. Cook until the meat is tender (falling apart).
