This is the most awaited time of the season for the Bartons! Fishing is exciting & fun! That feeling at the end of your line as the fish nibbles the bait… I can’t explain it! The quiet sound of the misty lake in harmony with the singing loon as the gentle breeze tickles your face. Take a deep breath, be grateful & listen. This is Beauty, this is Art, this is Nature… and if you are amazed… this is just a Creation. How wonderful it will be to meet THE CREATOR.
Great video Mike and Josie. I noticed that perhaps you caught the most, Mike but Josie caught the biggest trout in your video exploring the 5 lakes. Wonderful scenery and those wild Specked trout were spectacular in color. Down south here in the states, we call them Brook trout, but no matter they still look the same. My opinion the most beautiful of all the trout especially with their fall spawning color.
Thanks again for taking all the time and effort to share your trip.
Larry
PS: Also thanks for showing me how to skin a trout. I’ve never done that, but will be sure to use that method in the future.
I like catching them …not cleaning them….but what I catch I clean anyway….
I like cooking them but Mike cleans them. 🙂
