Mike and Josie – those “Kuska” wood drinking cups… Where can I and a friend or 3 get one? I would like a 12 – 14 oz (300 – 400 ml) size one. Web searches bring up mostly European mfr’s, and usually not over 200 ml.
Thanks.
Jerry
Hi Jerry, click the pictures at the very bottom, those are links where you could buy them. Let me know if you if you need anything else. http://bushcraftbartons.com/kuksa-wooden-cup
Thanks Richard, we appreciate you stopping by.
Thank you. Love the site and I’ll be visiting often.
Rikki
Thanks Rikki, you’re very welcome.
Josie where do you get your Old Bay spice.
Hi Peter, this was given by a friend. Here I found you the link:
Old Bay Seasoning 6 oz
I do really like all your vids Mike and Josie, your cooking demo is a hit with me. I used your fried rice recipe today to have with some fresh caught trout. Keep on with your web site and your videos. I do really like them a lot.
What a joy for us to know that you enjoy our videos, keep cooking & maybe try the pansit next 🙂 Thank you Larry for your awesome support.
Mike, I was interested in that hammock camp chair that you use. Where did you get it?
Thanks,
Mike
Check Econo Challenge in YouTube, the hammocks were made by Jeep. Just contact him and tell him that you are interested. Here’s the link for you: https://www.youtube.com/user/EconoChallenge
where do I get the Squirrel Cooker From PitFireOutdoors at? Please send me a link. Thanks.
Hi Mike and Josie! Mike, what make of rod and reel was that you were using in your video about catching brook trout? I liked the fact that it was compact and short in length. Have you ever come in contact with bears or cougars while fishing , camping, or on a scout? I’m fairly new to your channel, and I’ve enjoyed and learned something from everyone I’ve watched so far. Stay happy and keep doing what you love. Thanks.
Hi and thank you for your kind words.
My fly rod is a simple 6 foot 6 inch made by Shimano medium action. Concerning bears I have only encountered them once or twice and it was during a deer hunt and another time while fishing, both times they ran away as fast as lightning. No worries with them.
Thanks
Hi Mike and Josie,
I’d like to know more about the tent(s) you use. I am new to your website and I’ve only watched 3 or 4 of your videos. Maybe you have one on your favorite tents. I have used a 1-person Big Agnes for over 3 years. But now I’d like to do more winter camping and maybe even live outside in the winter (eventually!). So please give me whatever suggestions you can with this.
Love, Bunny (from Boulder, Co.)
Hello Bunny
I have not owned many tents in my life but one that I have on my wishlist is in the Scorpion series by Snugpack. Depending if its for 1 or 2 people they have it. They can be expensive but they are of good quality, lightweight and 4 seasons.
The Scorpion 2 for example is suppose to be for 2 people but others say that they are good for one and have place for your stuff. There is also one they call the bunker which would have enough room for 2 plus your gear. The one on my wish list is the Scorpion 3 which is good for 2 plus gear.
Maybe you are looking for something different like a hot tent. One that you can use with a stove?
I am sure there are other good tents. Very sorry I cannot help you more. I will leave you with some links.

Hi i was wondering what your recommendation would be for a good camera. What do you two use? what cameras have you personally used and would recommend I stay away from?
The one I have right now is great. I’ve had it for over 4 years with no issues. I do not know if they still exist but you can certainly get something in the same line. I would trust in SONY or CANON…..Mine is a SONY HDR-CX110
Hope this helps a bit….
