So far so good! It jammed a bit while using it with the WIFI but it was not a big deal. The film was fine after the whole processing of the film was completed.
Get the APP if you intend on using your cell phone! Available on (App Store & Google Play). Search and install SJCAM ZONE.
The image has good quality capturing the very colors of what you’re filming. It CANNNOT ZOOM IN OR FOCUS. After all it is an ACTION CAMERA!
• Comes in different colors (black, red, white, yellow, golden, blue, and silver) to choose from.
• Simple and Easy to Use.
It is easy to operate without getting lost into the details. Easy access with the buttons clearly indicated even with the water proof case on.
The SETUP ICON provides seven screen pages of detailed information if you want to change some of the settings or just leave in default.
Also check the provided MANUAL for the full details of other ICONS.
• MEMORY CARDS RECOMMENDED WITH SJCAM CAMERAS
16GB or 32GB original, well-known brands with high quality, high input/output writing speeds, and class 10 at least. SDHC versions are recommended. The following micro SD memory cards have been tested and performed well with all of the SJCAM devices:
• Silicon Power Micro SDXC 64GB Class 10 (only with selected models)
• Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB (only with selected models)
• Samsung EVO C10 32GB
• Sandisk Extreme C10 32GB
• Lexar EVO C10 32GB
• Transcend Premium 300 C10 32GB
• Sandisk C4 32GB
• Sony C10 32GB
• Sandisk C6 16GB
• Transcend C10 16GB
• Kingston 16GB
You can always play with your budget, the higher the GB the more you will pay. Just go with your budget and definitely consider the storage depending on what you do. It is worth having a bigger storage and even have another extra card with you just in case. I’m just using the KINGSTON 16GB MICRO SD CARD; cost around $15. Don’t go below 16GB!
• BATTERY CHARGER ACCESSORY (SOLD SEPARATELY)
This is totally up to you if you want this additional accessory. The USB CABLE provided in the package will do the same thing. IT WILL STILL CHARGE YOUR BATTERY USING YOUR COMPUTER.
When you charge the camera with the provided USB CABLE; you will not see the BATTERY ICON really charging. The camera screen will display (MASS STORAGE & PC CAMERA) so there is no telling when the battery is fully charged or not.
WHAT I DID:
Using my Samsung Tablet or Cell Phone CHARGER, just plug the SJCAM USB CABLE TO THE SAMSUNG ADAPTOR and you will see the BATTERY IN ACTION SLOWLY CHARGING! It took a good part of the day to FULLY CHARGE THE BATTERY for the first time.
• LOTS OF ACCESSORIES INCLUDED
Depending on your setup, these accessories are great to have. Of course one of the cool features is the WATERPROOF CASE that allows you to dive up to 30 meters. If you dive with it make sure you set it up with the underwater setup.
Below is a link to a video I made. The water was murky due to the rains that we had but I can’t imagine the filming it will give under clear waters.
Of course there are other accessories available like (Selfie Stick, other mount for bikes, snowboards, car kits charger, SJ SMART REMOTE WATCH, bags & cases, tripods & monopods).

• UPLOADING FILES TO THE COMPUTER & CONVERTING
UPLOADING TO PC
Plug the USB CABLE to the camera. Turn on the camera then plug the other end of the cable to the computer. On the screen SELECT (MASS STORAGE). This will automatically do the upload.
There are two options to choose from: MP4 & MOV. I’m using WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER to EDIT my videos. But then I discovered that both formats are not recognized by Windows Movie Maker!
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
You have to CONVERT THE VIDEO TO WMV using a converter. I use an AVS VIDEO CONVERTER and only AFTER converting them that I was able to start editing the videos using the Windows Movie Maker.
An example is …. I had 13 scenes converted and it took almost all morning to convert them! So KEEP YOUR SCENES SHORT & SIMPLE!
I can’t explained it but for some reason when I uploaded my films to my pc, I DID NOT HAVE TO CONVERT IT! It was fine & I was able to load it directly to Windows Movie Maker. So, I guess you’ll be fine but if not just let me know and I’ll see what I can find for you. Thanks again!
So Folks, I hope that these informations helped you a bit. If you have any comments or questions, please let me know and I will be glad to answer them for you as soon as I can.
Thank you for your patience! We always appreciate your support!
